“ The tacos are absolutely delicious but my only complaint is that the amount of meat I got on each taco was so little. I could literally roll up each one twice over..Every first bite was just shell :/ they’re too expensive to be given such small amounts of meat. That’s my only complaint but I still give 5 stars cause they were so good. ”

“ I ordered tacos al pastor & pollo(chicken), birria ramen & the quesabirria. All of the food was expertly flavored to perfection & authentic. My favorite was the quesabirria, while it was delicious on it's own, the consume made it exquisite. And don't forget dessert...while glancing around while waiting for me food (which wasn't long at all btw) I noticed a fridge with jarritos and slices of flan & tres leches. I took home a slice of tres leches and am happily stuffed with enough leftovers for another meal. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic take out. ”

“ Please know that this restaurant is opens seasonally. During summer days they cater, winter time is when they are open. If you live in Monroe Mi and think you have tried authentic food in this small town, please reconsider and stop by Nena's. I am 2 days from leaving Monroe and I couldn't be more happy to have found the most authentic mexican restaurant in town. Chicken enchiladas and chicken tamales are delicious, served with authentic homemade beans and rice. The kitchen aroma in the small bodega gets you ready to eat! Must try! ”
